The Aquitaine Sculpture Academy

This school is dedicated to teaching the art of academic sculpture in clay modelling and an in-depth study of anatomy for sculptors or painters.

Whatever your level, whether you are a beginner with little experience or have already confirmed your experience, a simple and progressive course will enable you to acquire technical competence as regards both the materials and the human body in this context.

You will learn what is absolutely indispensable, plus the best ways and shortcuts to draw or sculpt an anatomically accurate body quickly.

The three-year courses (i.e. nine terms) are constantly backed up by practical exercises, numerous anatomical drawings and both static and dynamic descriptions of human mechanics.

They take place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the ASA.

(ASA : 33160 Saint Médard en Jalles; exact address available on request).
